Emily Guynn is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and has been a practicing clinician since 2015. Emily received a bachelors degree in Psychology from The University of Mississippi and a masters degrees in Marriage and Family Therapy with a specialization in trauma from Richmont Graduate University.
Her experience includes working with adolescents, teenagers, young adults and beyond. She’s worked with a wide variety of issues including anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, family of origin issues, grief and spirituality. She is also equipped to have family/joint sessions as needed for her client’s well being.
In the counseling office, Emily aspires to see healing in the midst of broken stories through the redemptive, saving power of Jesus Christ. She is trained in the integration of psychology and Christianity and these tools can be utilized at the client’s request.
Emily is happily married with two beautiful children. In her free time she loves to be in nature, read books and spend time with family.
